Why Richmond is a great place to do business

Richmond Borough is an incredibly affluent and diverse place for business. Tucked away on our local trading estates are many high growth hidden gems, with specialist expertise that serves nationally and globally. PayPal and Ebay are located here. Plus just a stones throw away on the M3 and M4 corridors are the homes of many corporates such as BSkyB and GlaxoSmith Kline.

As a London borough, we have the highest number of innovative independent businesses run from home. Without doubt, we enjoy a very pro- active networking community.

Any business, no matter its size will have genuine needs from suppliers if they are to develop and flourish. Richmond Business Expo provides the platform for buyers and business owners to see under one roof, the high level of expertise available locally.

Very, very good, made some great new contacts and revived some old ones

How we market Richmond Business Expo

A highly active online, print and media campaign will attract 100’s of business owners from across the borough and SW London. Purchasers from M3 and M4 corridor businesses will be invited. Plus to tie in with our Buy Local campaign – local residents will be invited to come along and meet the local businesses that could help them for leisure and home. See Marketing Plan

Thoroughly enjoyable event with lots of great opportunity for networking and meeting new contacts

The value of keynote speakers

Brilliant speakers are a natural crowd puller. Now more than ever, people are needing inspiration and to feel hope. Expo 2012 saw 320 people walk straight into the exhibition hall as the doors opened, following on from the engaging seminar by Top UK Entrepreneur Nigel Botterill. At Expo 2013 we will be adding additional seminars to capture the after work crowd to ensure footfall and momentum continues throughout the day.

We avoid running seminars throughout the mainstay of the Expo. Experience has proven it is far more fruitful to exhibitors if seminars are timely placed and not unneccessarily pulling people away from the stands.
